Cocktails

Broken Heart Sour
6cl Broken Heart Gin
3cl freshly squeezed lime juice
10 drops freshly squeezed orange juice from an orange slice
2 dashes Fee Brothers Peach Bitters
2cl White cane-sugar-sirup
Shake and fine-strain into a chilled tumbler
Garnish with 1 orange slice, 3 peach slices and a half lemon grass-stick
Serve with straws on ice with a smile 🙂

Ginger Rogers
50ml Gin
30ml Lime
30ml Ginger syrup
A Splash of Ginger Wine
8-10 Mint sprigs
The Ginger Rogers is a wonderfully gingery and refreshing post-prohibition cocktail. Muddling all these ingredients, serving them over ice and topping with a splash of ginger ale or wine is ideal for appreciating the pimento pepper and ginger elements of Broken Heart Gin.

Negroni
25ml Gin
25ml Sweet Vermouth
25ml Campari
The dilution achieved by stirring all three ingredients over ice releases the round earthy and spiced flavours, which is characteristic of the botanical combination of Nelson hops, malt and angelica root.
Perfect for something bittersweet!

Aviation
50ml Gin
15ml lemon juice
15ml Maraschino
7ml Crème de Violette
We just love Aviations, they’re fabulously floral. Shaken in a cocktail shaker and strained into a chilled coupe is a classy way to get the best out of our local Queenstown lavender pickings.

Gin & Tonic
Broken Heart Gin also works wonderfully with tonic. We’d suggest a slice of Tangelo Orange and a sprig of Rosemary as a garnish; this beautifully lifts the citrus and Angelica root.
